Overview of Fiberlink Networks:
Fiberlink is the industry's fastest and most advanced Internet access network in Lebanon. In 2002 Fiberlink was the first ISP in the region to be awarded the prestigious Cisco Powered Network (CPN) from Cisco systems.
Fiberlink services the Corporate, Educational, and Governmental sectors, offering advanced broadband, VPN, multi-media solutions, and other solutions including a wide variety of Internet solutions, including Fiberlink FLEX Access, Fiberlink DEDICATED Access, Fiberlink PURE Crystal, dialup connections, satellite services, Virtual ISPs, managed Internet security, dedicated and shared hosting services, and Web design.
The infrastructure established by Fiberlink includes the first (since 1999) fiber optic link in the country that has direct connectivity straight to New York in which 85-90% of the worldwide Internet is hosted and to Europe (London) in a redundant fashion to offer full business continuity. Multiple E1 connections constitute as the primary backbone of Fiberlink. This differentiates Fiberlink in terms of SLA and availability, connection speed and quality making it the prime choice for delay sensitive solutions. Moreover, Fiberlink is the only ISP in Lebanon that implements IP over Frame Relay technology, which enables the Company to offer dedicated services to corporate clients while maximizing bandwidth utilization capacity.
Fiberlink also boosts highly qualified and dynamic technical and sales teams dedicated to an organization culture at the heart of which lies customer care and support.
Fiberlink is supported by alliances with global companies such as Cisco, Microsoft, FLAG Telecom, Cable & Wireless, LoudEye, EutelSat, and others. These alliances allow Fiberlink to leverage its strengths in response to the demands of the market and to deliver cost effective, secure, reliable solutions that are adaptable to the constant changes in technology and business needs.
In 2004 Fiberlink struck a mega partnership deal with Cedarcom to offer instant Broadband Services through Cedarcom’s advanced MPLS backbone. For more information, kindly review
